Hand crafted, artisan gin and spirits from the Highlands of Scotland
Welcome to Badachro Distillery, where a world of artisan, small batch distilled spirits awaits. Badachro Gin is already making a big name for itself around the Scottish Highlands where locals, visitors and professionals alike are just falling in love with the fresh and unique taste of our gin.
Located in… wait for it, the hamlet of Badachro in the Scottish Highlands, Gordon & Vanessa hand pick an array of exquisite botanicals from the surrounding hills, woodland, fields and shores of the Gairloch and combine them in our beautiful (and rather mature) copper pot still ‘Delilah’.
Our aged and venerable copper still
She marries the subtle flavours and scents of local botanicals with a carefully selected combination of traditional botanicals, herbs & spices to create an absolutely delicious, unique and authentic taste of the Highlands. Juniper, wild myrtle, coriander, gorse blossom, lavender, rose-hip petals and elderflower among other delights, combine to create a distinct and delicious taste which is unique to our stunningly beautiful land of purity, clarity and wonder.
Gordon & Vanessa’s ethos is equally as clear and is based on expressing as much as Badachro and surrounding area has to offer in a creative, high quality utterly delicious gin. Using botanicals that grow in the ancient lands within sight of their house and the distillery, water that falls through the pure, unpolluted air above the village and the much documented highland tradition of distilling, Badachro Gin is born for the delight of our customers around Wester Ross, across Scotland and well beyond.
Our small distillery shop is open to the public Monday – Friday from 11am – 2pm.
“We brought a bottle of Badachro back from our summer hols in the far north, and have only just opened it. We brought back quite a few gins, but really should have opened yours earlier – it’s by far the best of the bunch, a real winner. Instantly at the top of my personal favourites. Loved it. Brilliant, well done, keep it up!”
